Obama Website Calls Free Speech “Dangerous” to Attack Palin & Raise Money

My buddy Marcus Wilder (also on Twitter as @NaiveAbroad) got this letter from Barack Obama’s Organizing For America beggng for money to fight Sarah Palin’s “lies”.

Here’s the text of the entire letter:

Marcus —

Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn.

It’s dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term “Death Panels” — and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists.

What’s dangerous? Criticizing a sitting president? Nobody thought so when George Bush was President and called him “Chimpy McBush-Hitler”, did they? Or is it just Free Speech that’s “dangerous”?

Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

Yes, yes — everything about Obama is a lie. He’s pure as the virgin snow and farts sanitary deodorizer while riding his unicorn to work.

As we approach the final sprint on health reform, we can’t afford more deception and delay. We need to be ready for anything — and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come.

If we can’t afford more deception, perhaps you guys should quit putting out so much of it, ya think?

Earlier this month, Palin publicly said that she hopes health reform will be “dead on arrival.” And since then, she’s been working fiercely toward that goal. On Tuesday, Palin went on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show where she outrageously — and falsely — suggested that Americans could “face jail time as punishment” if they don’t buy insurance.

Here’s a news flash for you; It’s not only in the both the house and Seante bills, but Nancy Pelosi thinks jail time for failing to buy Health Insurance is a “good idea”:

Plus President Narcissist recently told ABC News’ Jake Tapper that he shares Pelosi’s belief that jail time is an appropriate punishment for not buying health insurance.

Palin has many more interviews scheduled on Hannity and other conservative shows in the next few weeks, with more platforms to go after the President. As soon as she does, the rest of our opponents will likely parrot those attacks. We need to be prepared. And we’re counting on you help. Can you chip in $5 or more?

So what conclusions can we draw from this letter?

1. THE FACTS DON’T MATTER. They don’t care that you already KNOW there will be jail time for failing to buy Health Insurance.
2. THEY THINK YOU’RE STUPID.  They assume you’re too stupid to do your own fact-checking — like I just did with Pelosi’s YouTube video.
3. THEY’RE RUNNING OUT OF MONEY.  If they’re soliciting for funds, they’re low on money.  It’s easy to prove fraud if they’re soliciting for funds and already have money — so very likely they’re running low.

All of which is good news for Conservatives. They’re not very bright; and they’re blowing through money.

Nobel Chairman Caught In Lie; Obama Selection Hardly “Unanimous”

Well, well, well —I don’t know why I’m so surprised when the decption starts to unravel. Let the circus begin:

Three of the five members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee had objections to the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to US President Barack Obama, the Norwegian tabloid Verdens Gang (VG) reported Thursday.

“VG has spoken to a number of sources who confirmed the impression that a majority of the Nobel committee, at first, had not decided to give the peace prize to Barack Obama,” the newspaper said.

In a surprise move last Friday, the Nobel committee attributed the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama less than nine months after he had taken office. The committee, appointed by the Norwegian parliament, honoured Obama for “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”

“The committee was unanimous,” its influential secretary Geir Lundestad told AFP on Friday.

But Inger-Marie Ytterhorn, who represented the right-wing populist Progress Party on the committee, led the way in objecting to the choice of Obama because she questioned his ability to keep his promises, the newspaper said.

It also said the representative of the Conservative Party, Kaci Kullmann Five, and Aagot Valle, the representative of the Socialist Left, had objections.

The choice for Obama was however strongly supported by committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland and Sissel Roenbeck, both representatives of the Labour Party.

“Each year, we start with many candidates and many different points of view and agree as the discussions move along. This year was no exception,” Lundestad commented Thursday.

The newspaper quotes Ytterhorn and Five as saying they both supported the committee’s final decision.

Okay, here’s the thing: From the Chairman’s statement, it was heavily implied that the selection and approval of Obama as the Peace Prize winner was “unanimous.”  However, it’s readily apparent from these comments by the newspapers in norway that only two of the five members supported the decision in the beginning — but they lobbied, argued, and cajoled the other three members into agreeing.

Does this happen with every Nobel decision, or just President Narcissists?  And how does one promote “strengthen  . . . cooperation between peoples” by browbeating their own comittee into cooperation?

This just gets uglier and a greater farce the more you know about it.  President Obama should decline the Nobel and stay away from the awards ceremony — although it’s highly unlikely he’ll be able to resist his ego and do so.

Send in the clowns . . .

Tea Parties Protest “Obama Song” School; Board Members Lie Through Teeth

Remember this scary little indoctrination video:

Apparently it still has some of the parents alittle wee-wee’d up:

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) – Protesters brought some different songs Monday to an elementary school where students sang in praise of President Barack Obama, bringing criticism from conservative commentators who said children were being indoctrinated.

About 70 protesters stood on a sidewalk across the street from the B. Bernice Young School waving flags and homemade placards, singing “God Bless America” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” and chanting slogans such as “No indoctrination” and “Free children, free minds.”

“The Battle Hymn of the Republic” is one of the songs that had it’s lyrics mashed up in the Obama Song tribute. It’s toward the end of the video.

Monday’s 90-minute protest, held while the school was in session and attended largely by members of anti-tax organizations from around the state, was an outgrowth of that sentiment.

“We should continue protests like this to prevent this from happening again,” said Robert Gordan, 66, a retiree from Middletown.

C’mon AP — you can say “Tea Party.” C’mon. Say it. C’mon!

Karen Flowers, a 43-year-old state government social worker, was there to protest the protesters. “I don’t have any problem with the first African-American president, the children singing about it,” Flowers said. “They’re making a lot out of nothing.”

My my my — was threat the specter of racism she was trying to invoke? Wanna bet she’s an SEIU member, too?

Jim and Gina Pronchick, who were among the few protesters who have children in the school, said they were upset that their son was in the video without their permission—and that school officials hadn’t fully explained the context of the song.

The song was performed in February during an assembly that celebrated a number of occasions, from Black History Month to Dental Health Month, the township Board of Education said in a statement Monday. The lyrics were sent home to parents in advance, the board said.

Okay — that’s a damned dirty lie, and I can tell you exactly why. When was the last time your kid’s school sent home the lyrics of any song your kid was going to sing? If it’s true, they knew there were problems with the song in advance, and were trying to wash their hands of it.

But I sincerely, strongly doubt it’s true. The Board is lying to cover their collective butts.

The video was made a month later when Charisse Carney-Nunes, who wrote the children’s book “I Am Barack Obama,” visited the school and children sang the song again, school officials said.

“There was no intention to make any political statement or promote a political agenda at all,” Superintendent Christopher Manno said in the statement.

Uh-huh. “We sang a song about one particular (sitting) President — but it had no political agenda at all” Riiiiiight. Suuuuuure it didn’t, you lying sack of shinola. NOTE to the Tea Parties of New Jersey: WHY is this guy still your schools superintendent?

The teacher who oversaw the class has retired.

Yeah, I’ll just bet she did. That’s probably one of the motivators for doing it: “I’m retiring — let them try and fire me.”

In other words, just another day in the American Education System: Incompetence, Arrogance, Lying through their teeth to the parents, and our kids struggle to pass the tests.

Vouchers are looking better and better, aren’t they?

How To Become A Nobel Prize Nominee in Four Easy Steps & Build your Resume FAST!

I’ve been giving this whole thing about President Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s troubling to me for a variety of reasons, but primarily this:Worse; the nomination period for Nobel Prizes is from October to February. At best he’d been President **11 days** when he was nominated; at worst, he was still 5 weeks away from being elected.

Which means, in a very real sense, President Narcissist was awarded the Nobel peace Prize not for anything he actually did.

Doesn’t this make the Nobel prize some sort of a joke? Why yes; yes it does, skippy. It does indeed; sort of the Rubber Chicken of Awards. Certainly if the Nobel hadn’t attained “Ridiculousness Status” when Yasir Arafat won one, it most certainly does now.

So I did some research and I’m going to show everyone how to nominate someone for a Nobel Prize. It’s easy, it’s simple, and fun for all the family. And it’s a real resume-builder, too.

For my example I’m going to nominate Marcus Henderson Wilder, (Twitter’s @NaiveAbroad), for the Noble Prize in Literature. Marc is the author of several books, including:

According to the Nobel Committee website, Qualified Nominators include “Members of national assemblies and governments of states.” The Constitution of the United States, **ARE** the government.

(2.) Make a copy of this letter. Take it to your local Notary Pulic and notarize a copy of the submission letter.

(3.) Mail the original Letter Certified Mail to the Nobel Committee.

(4.) Select an appropriate frame, and put the notarized letter with the Certified Mail Receipt in the frame.

This will make a fine gift for that special someone for Christmas: A Nobel Prize nomination.  Then Marcus Henderson Wilder will justifiably be able to claim that his books have been nominated for Nobel Prize in Literature. Think how much it would mean to your firends to have been nominated for that Nobel Peace Prize; or Literature Prize; or Chemistry Prize.  What a truly great gift that would be.

Will they actually **WIN** the Nobel Prize they’ve been nominated for? Doubtful, really. I’d be extremely surprised if they do.

And, I might mention . . . we’ll also flood the Nobel committee with paperwork. Great protest strategy, eh?

Nobel Prize to ‘encourage’ Obama’s Middle East peace efforts

Warning: This is NOT a belated April Fools joke, as my wife thought when she woke up and heard this.

And she’s a liberal. Even the newsreaders on local stations were somewhat incredulous, with the very liberal Carrie Lockey at WOAI Tadio saying, “We’ll have to see on this one.”

PARIS – The 2008 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize said Friday he believed the Nobel committee had awarded the 2009 prize to U.S. President Barack Obama to “encourage” his Middle East peace efforts.

Former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari told CNN: “We do not yet have a peace in the Middle East . . . this time it was very clear that they wanted to encourage Obama to move on these issues . . .

“This is a clear encouragement to do something on this issue, I wish him good luck.”

Obama won the prize despite taking office less than a year ago.

The jury hailed his “extraordinary” diplomatic efforts on the international stage.

Obama was honoured “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples,” the head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee Thorbjoern Jagland said.

The committee attached “special importance to Obama’s vision and work for a world without nuclear weapons” and said he had created “a new climate in international politics.”

“Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future,” it said.

Last month the Middle East diplomatic Quartet hailed as an “important step” Obama’s three-way talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas.

The Obama administration has demanded a complete freeze to Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem, land the Palestinians want to turn into a future state. But Israel has so far baulked.

The U.S. leader has told the Israeli and Palestinian leaders to stop stalling and open talks on a comprehensive deal to end an “endless cycle” of conflict and suffering.

So, sell out the Jews and talk tough on the world stage without actually doing anything; apparently that’s the only requirements to win the Nobel Prize. That certainly explains Al Gore and Jimmy Carter. However, in a move designed to humiliate and embarrass former President Carter, Obama become the the third sitting President to win the Prize, after Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.

Ouch. That’s GOTTA hurt, eh Jimmy?

And in the piece of news that’s guaranteed to blow your mind, nominations are accepted the October in the year before the award. That shows how President Obama was nominated LAST YEAR, before he was even elected!

Aspirin. Do we have any aspirin? I need to lie down now . . . And suddenly I have the overwhelming urge to tattoo “666” on my forehead.

Did Barack Obama Trade Lockerbie Bomber for Oil & Security Council Chairmanship?

Like this guy doesn’t have enough on his plate. And if true, this guy may be a bigger liar than Bill Clinton ever was — and that’s saying something!

When the Lockerbie bomber was released from British prison in Scotland, there was more than a little rumbling from the U.S. Turns out that the Obama White House knew about it all along.

President Obama and the US Secretary of State fueled a fierce American backlash against Britain, claiming Abdelbaset Al Megrahi should have been forced to serve out his jail sentence in Scotland – but a senior Whitehall aide said their reaction was ‘disingenuous’.

British officials claim Mr Obama and Mrs Clinton were kept informed at all stages of discussions concerning Megrahi’s return.

The officials say the Americans spoke out because they were taken aback by the row over Megrahi’s release, not because they did not know it was about to happen.

‘The US was kept fully in touch about everything that was going on with regard to Britain’s discussions with Libya in recent years and about Megrahi,’ said the Whitehall aide.  ‘We would never do anything about Lockerbie without discussing it with the US. It is disingenuous of them to act as though Megrahi’s return was out of the blue.

So if the Obama Administration consented to the release of the Lockerbie bomber — for which British Petroleum was (allegedly) awarded oil leases in Libya — then what did the U.S. get for the release?

How about the chairmanship of the United Nations Security Council for President Obama?

Barack Obama will cement the new co-operative relationship between the US and the United Nations this month when he becomes the first American president to chair its 15-member Security Council.

Mr Obama will join other heads of government in New York during the week of the nuclear summit for the opening of the 64th session of the UN General Assembly. The annual meeting of world leaders is this year raising expectations on a number of fronts.

UN officials hope a climate change debate on September 22 will give fresh impetus to the search for a global climate deal at Copenhagen in December. There are also hopes a possible meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister, and Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Authority president, that Mr Obama would host, could lead to a breakthrough about a timetable for Middle East peace.

Uh-HUH. Keep dreaming on that one. Sounds to me like Chris Matthews and his Hardballs were so busy dry-humping the President’s Leg he had some kind of Obamagasm and dreamed that one up out of whole cloth.

US officials are concerned Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi might try to steal the limelight during his first visit to New York. A public outcry at the Libyan leader’s visit after he last month welcomed home Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, the freed Lockerbie bomber, has already stymied his plans to pitch his tent in Central Park.

The State Department has not ruled out the possibility that Mr Obama and Colonel Gaddafi would cross paths. They are both due to address the General Assembly on the same day, and the Libyan leader, whose country is a temporary member of the Security Council, is entitled to attend the nuclear summit session that Mr Obama will chair.

So . . . let’s see now. The President of the United States; the leader of the Free World ~!and~ a noted liar and prevaricator, will further add to his power base by chairing the Security Council of the United Nations next month.

Texas School Districts *SWAMPED* With Outraged Calls Over Obama’s Narcissistic “Student Address”

More San Antonio and Texas school districts are making the decision not to participate in President Obama’s controversial speech to students on Tuesday, or to participate at an ‘arm’s length’ level, 1200 WOAI news reports.

The Northside ISD (Independant School District) and North East ISD’s both decided on Thursday that they will not only not show the speech live, they will not broadcast it in classes at all, nor will any of the ‘instructional materials’ provided by the Department of Education be used in school either.

Northeast ISD and Northside ISD are the two largest Independent school districts in San Antonio. Together with San Antonio ISD the comprise 90% of the city’s schools.

Comal ISD Superintendent Marc Walker now says a similar policy will be in place there, and Walker, like many others, is more concerned about the ‘instructional materials’ than with the address itself. “Subsequent suggested activities developed by the Department of Education brings into question, for many, the political implications of this endeavor,” Walker said.

Comal County lies just to the north of San Antonio’s Bexar County, and is the site of a burgeoning suburban population outlying San Antonio proper.

Walker said the materials appear to push the speech over the line from a simple address to students to a political activity.  “It is not our responsibility to emphasize one group’s philosophy, values, or ideology over another,” Walker said. He said the Education Department has ‘placed our staff in a very precarious position of having the answer questions that rightfully should be addressed by the parent.’

Classic. “Multiculturalism” hung by it’s own petard.

In the San Antonio School District, Superintendent Robert Duron will allow the speech to be heard in classrooms, but with several caveats.

“Teachers may use the speech if it is well aligned with the class curriculum,” Duron said.  He said the speech may be broadcast live in the classroom, or may be played back later, but any teacher who intended to use the speech live or delayed in the classroom must notify all parents in advance. “

And I’d pay real money to be on the extension of the poor, suicidal teacher trying to make the phone calls to notify those parents; although I’d worry about my poor virgin ears ability to take all that profanity . . .

Those who elect not to participate will be provided with alternative activities,” Duron said.

Statewide, districts are also electing not to participate in the speech.  Plano ISD, north of Dallas, says it will not show the address but will ‘make it available later.’

There had been concerns that large numbers of students might skip school on Tuesday to avoid seeing the President’s speech. In fact, several conservative groups have been circulating on line petitions, to make Tuesday a ‘skip day.’  “If parents are thinking about keeping their students at home because they don’t want them to see the address, that’s not an issue in North East, because we won’t be airing it,” North East ISD spokeswoman Deb Caldwell said.

Two things stick out here:

1. I find the fact that the man who tries to blame all his bad press on Fox News and continues to blame George Bush for the bad economy and war deaths wants to talk to my kids on “the importance of taking responsibility for their success in school– well, laughable at best, and highly specious at worst.
2. This event is “open to pre-credentialed media.”  Not bloggers — No.  “pre-credentialed Media” — Yes.

Bab, BAD Bloggers. Naughty Bloggers. Darn Them!

(Sigh.) Wanna bet he doesn’t take questions?    Because I’ve got a GOOD question for him — WHY? I always try to follow the six “W’s” of Journalism:

WHO: The President
WHAT: Addressing Schoolchildren
WHEN: September 8th, noon EDT.
WHERE: Wakefield High School in Arlington.
HOW: Live on C-SPAN

All that’s left is “WHY?” Why Live? Why on TV? He could do a Public Service Announcement or an Afterschool Special and say the same thing.

So, the “WHY” remains unanswered. That’s what’s worrying me — and, apparently, a lot of other conservatives as well:

President Barack Obama’s plans for a televised back-to-school address to students next week are drawing fire from some conservatives, who say he’s just trying to indoctrinate them to his political beliefs.

In the Sept. 8 speech, Obama will challenge students to work hard, set goals for their education and take responsibility for their learning, Education Secretary Arne Duncan said in a letter to principals.

The Education Department is encouraging teachers to create lesson plans around the speech, using materials provided on the department website, that urge students to learn about Obama and other presidents.

Oh yeah — Other Presidents, too. Yeah, Sure — THAT’s the ticket! Just for the record here: Amazon.com lists as of today 543 books available on George W. Bush; only one of which was availabe during his first year in office (the others were published after 2001.) By contrast, Barack Obama has 274 Biuographies and 2 autobiographies listed as of today — all published before the end of his first year in office.

But already, some conservatives are crying foul. The chairman of the Florida Republican Party is condemning Obama’s speech as an attempt to “indoctrinate America’s children to his socialist agenda.” “The idea that school children across our nation will be forced to watch the President justify his plans for government-run health care, banks, and automobile companies, increasing taxes on those who create jobs, and racking up more debt than any other President, is not only infuriating, but goes against beliefs of the majority of Americans, while bypassing American parents through an invasive abuse of power,” Chairman Jim Greer said in a press release.

Added conservative talk show host Tammy Bruce in a Twitter feed: “Make September 8 Parentally Approved Skip Day. You are your child’s moral tutor, not that shady lawyer from Chicago.” And conservative author Michelle Malkin said the lesson plans have a “heavy activist bent.”

Thankfully, Texas has some reservations on the Presidents moral Ponzi scheme:

Texas school districts are discussing whether the president’s speech will be shown — some districts are leaving it up to individual teachers with an opt out parents who don’t want their children to view the speech, according to the Houston Chronicle.In his letter to principals, Duncan said viewing of the speech is encouraged, not mandatory.

The Nationwide Tea Party Coalition announces “Hall Pass on That,” the alternative to President Barack Obama’s September 8th address to school children across the nation. The group asks that schools who choose to participate in the president’s September 8th program offer an alternative to students and families who do not wish to view, or have their children view, a partisan address or participate in activities that did not follow proper educational protocol or obtain parental consent.

Dana Loesch, Nationwide spokesperson for the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, announced the launch of the Hall Pass on That to provide parents who oppose the Department of Education’s proposed presidential program. “We are suggesting several action steps parents can take if they do not approve of their children participating in a partisan presentation conducted without their consent”:

1. Contact the child’s school to find out whether or not your school is participating in the president’s September 8th program.

2. If your child’s school is participating, ask what alternatives there are for the children of families who wish their students learn about the establishment of the country respective to the Founding Father’s intentions. Discussion can focus on the Constitution, the definition and actions of a republic, and the responsibility of elected leaders to their constituents.

3. Ask if the school can excuse your child from the presentation and instead receive a DVD of the address and copy of the activity directives to be evaluated by parents at a later date.

4. Request meeting with the school board, superintendent, and principal to inquire as to why parents were excluded from the decision-making process of this event. (For those wishing to contact their school boards, The Cato institute has a nifty tool HERE to find your local school board!

Katrina Pierson, member of the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, described some of the tools available http://www.hallpassonthat.com: “We will provide alternative lesson plans to the ones initially sent out by President Obama’s Department of Education. Those plans, which people can download from the site, were uncomfortably partisan with no real focus on how our officials serve the people, not vice-versa. Our alternative lesson plans also focus appropriately on the role of parents in the education plan for every child.”

Yes, presidents have spoken to schoolchildren before, but when circumstances required it. President Ronald Reagan addressed students after the Challenger shuttle disaster was witnessed live by millions of schoolchildren; George H. W. Bush addressed students as part of the effort to counteract the growing drug use by schoolchildren.

The Nationwide Tea Party Coalition cannot afford to extend this administration the courtesy of any doubt when it comes to the education of our children and our schools are not the place to present one-sided agendas, especially without parental consent.

My son will NOT be in his local High School on Tuesday the 8th. If for no other reason, it’s alos a great excuse to squeeze an extra “Family Day” out of the Labor Day weekend.

CNN Achor Don Lemon outruns his headlights with his blind Obama worship on the air. Watch his face when the African reporter Nkepile Mabuse says: “It’s not unprecedented. When President Bush was here, you will remember, in February, there were people who were drumming, there were dances, and President Bush joined some of them.”

Yeah, remember when you were making fun of President Bush for joining in the dances, Don? Sorry I couldn’t find a clip in English — all of those seem to have disappeared off Youtube. (Dancing starts about 0:48)

Leaked Text of Obama’s Honorary Doctorate – Reads Like “Teenaged Love Letter”!

Mother Jones Magazine, of all places, has what it says is the text of the Honorary Degree to be given to President Obama tomorrow.

Hold Your Gorge:

The University of Notre Dame Confers the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, on the 44th president of the United States, whose historic election opened a new era of hope in a country long divided by its history of slavery and racism. A community organizer who honed his advocacy for the poor, the marginalized and the worker in the streets of Chicago, he now organizes a larger community, bringing to the world stage a renewed American dedication to diplomacy and dialogue with all nations and religions committed to human rights and the global common good. Through his willingness to engage with those who disagree with him and encourage people of faith to bring their beliefs to the public debate, he is inspiring this nation to heal its divisions of religion, culture, race and politics in the audacious hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Oh, bend me over and call me Stinky.  I’ve read notes passed in class between teenage lovers who don’t sound as syrupy-sweet and cloying.

I’ll be very interested to see if this is, indeed, the correct text.  If true, I predict the firing of the president of Notre Dame University within the month.

National Day Of Prayer: We’ve Got an Agnostic In The White House (At Best)

It’s the National Day of Prayer. It’s a tradition in our country since the 1950’s that the first week in May is the day when the President sponsors a Prayer Breakfast at the White House. President Reagan gave it it’s current First Thursday timeslot in the 1980’s.

Last year it was somewhat controversial, just as everything that President Bush did was “controversial.” Note this bizarre, over-the-top video of last year:

If you didn’t finish it, don’t worry; neither could I. It takes a pretty sick mind to warp something as positive and innocent as the National Day of Prayer into a Bush-hatred screed. But that’s the world we’re living in right now.

So this year, President Obama — remember him?

• Born to a Muslim Father
• Raised Muslim in Indonesia in a Muslim School
• Attended a frankly racist Black Southside Chicago Church
• Has yet to decide what church his family will attend in Washington (if any)
• Has spent a couple of Sundays since election working out at the gym, rather than go to church

(And that’s just the stuff we can prove, by the way . . . )

President Obama has cancelled the National Prayer Breakfast as millions of Christians gathered at courthouses across the country to pray. (Click the link above to view the video.)

Now, I don’t know the circumstances behind the President’s decision to cancel the National Prayer Breakfast.  I wish I did.  Maybe he was too busy trying to fix the economy by overwriting capitalism into a new-socialist construct.  That’s HAS to be a lot of work — and from what I can see, it’s not working very well, is it?

So there’s THAT, of course.

Maybe he was afraid a commitment to the National Prayer Breakfast meant he would have to hear all those pesky, annoying prayers.  And, again, he’s way too busy for that.

American Thinker; “The Knock On The Door”

Lona Manning has an insightful and quite frightening take on the new “Obama Youth Corps”, coming to your door soon. I wonder what color shirts we’ll have to wear? Red (Mao), Black (SS), and Brown (Hitler youth) appear to be taken.

Blue-State-Blue, perhaps?  Or Maybe Blue-Sky-Dreaming-Blue?

Almost all great repressive movements start with a vocal minority (10 million?) oppressing a silent majority (300 million).  I’d say 3.33% is a pretty vocal minority, considering the celebrity/media connections most of these goopy fawning Obama followers have.

A sitting President of the United States is “organizing a political organization loyal to him, bound by a pledge, outside the government and existing party apparatus. The historical precedents are ominous.”

What is so ominous about an organization?

A visit to the OFA website reveals that supporters are not simply asked to sign

“Organizing for America,” announced by President Barack Obama in late January but officially unfurled last weekend.   Obama describes OFA as a “grass-roots movement” but OFA is a “project” of the Democratic Natrional Committee. As Politico reported, OFA will take the 10 million person database built up by the Obama campaign “to mobilize support for the president’s legislative agenda.”

up, they are asked to take a pledge. A pledge to support — not the flag, not the constitution, not the country, not even the Democratic party, but Obama and his “bold plan.” OFA does not use the Democratic Party logo but the “O”-shaped logo of the Obama campaign in which the red white and blue of the flag are abstracted to soft pastel colors.

(Celebrities like Ashton Kuchner and Demi Moore did not wait until the official launch to “pledge to be of service” to Barack Obama, of course.)

You will not find any mention of OFA`s governing structure, their budget, their bylaws, or their officers at the OFA website. Donations to the website go to the DNC, but OFA is managed out of the White House. If you click on the comments button, you are taken to a link to the White House email.

Those who take the pledge are asked to “talk with people about the President’s plan” and to “ask them to sign their names to the pledge” in support of Obama’s policies.

So we have a Movement — this is their term, not mine — organized by, and loyal to, a sitting President. Pledge canvassers, armed with your name, will ask you to pledge loyalty to the President too. A president whose term has already become a permanent campaign, is signing up ground forces in a mass organization pledged to personal loyalty to their Leader.

Does anyone know of any historical precedents for this in the United States?

Did Mitch Stewart, youthful director of OFA, who asks Obama’s acolytes to organize “neighborhood by neighborhood”  study anything at school about Mao’s “Red Guards?
