A few more pictures from the San Antonio Tea Party that I didn’t get to post yesterday due to sheer exhaustion:
One of the extremely dangerous radicals I met at Fuddruckers during dinner who “aren’t exactly family viewing” according to that bitch on CNN. Hayley disagrees. Loved the sign, too.
Loved this sign particularly: ‘Secede! — and Buy More Ammo!”
There’s no school like the old School. Saw a lot of Reaganites with buttons, signs, and T-shirts.
No small amount of support from the Secure Borders Crowd as well . . .
. . . of all races and creeds. “Get Your Hands out of My Wallet!”
One of my favorite shots of the rally; it’s a variant of the Alamoc Independence flag with the Cannon that said “Come and Take It” — this one has a Colt M-16/AR-15 semiautomatic rifle. Yeah, baby.
We had so many people there, they had to re-route the busses. They had to re-route the tourist trolleycars, which is a big-freakin’-deal!!!
By 5:00 pm when Glenn Beck’s sjpw was done (and an hour before the actual rally), you-could-not-move!-in Alamo Plaza. Packed tighter than saedines — and no oil, either.
And STILL the people came . . .
Personally, I think she’s too young to be a party girl.
The overflow and very cordial crowd at Crazy Sam’s on the Riverwalk watching Glenn Beck’s Show on the plasma TV.
As Alamo Plaza overflowed, so did Crazy Sam’s The guy on the right is a Scottish tourist who pointed out to me that he was unable to find any coverage on CNN or the networks — “only Fox News is carrying it.”
And the crowd grew and grew and grew . . .
A sign that made me laugh out loud; “You Voted For Change; How’s That Working For Ya?“
Doctor Phil; Texas Sage.
This is the guy that was reported by the ACORN infiltrators and manhandled by the cops. He had the bruise on his arm to prove it. I hope he sues the hell out of ACORN myself.
The Alamo in the moonlight, as a couple stops to reflect on the day. Note the other attendees stopping to pick up trash on their way out. This was no ‘trash the Washington DC mall” crowd here; we left Alamo Plaza freakin’ immaculate.
As it should be.
I’ve been e-mailed by a lady with some better pictures of the guests; I’ll post those this weekend when i get some time.
