Heh-heh-heh. Via Libertarian Republican:
Hollywood Film critics initially raved about the release of “Che.” Now, according to film receipts the movie ranks as one of the worst box office flops in movie making history, perhaps the very worst.
According to Newsbusters:
The film budget was actually $58 million… since opening last December, this movie has earned a grand total of just $1,432,057 as of the weekend of April 10-12. That means the total loss for ‘Che’ was approximately the entire budget cost.
Young Hipster NY Movie Critic Johnny Vincent, a big fan of Che, called the movie “utter Shit“ on his Blog:
I’m trying to decide if it’s the worst movie ever made… I’d heard from a few people that Che was surprisingly bad. I was massively disappointed. ‘Bad’ is not even close to the right word. People should be killed for making this movie – it’s incompetence at levels not seen since Carrot Top did comedy.
And that’s saying something. I saw both “Heavens Gate” and “Ishtar”, and they massively sucked.
Anybody know if the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 guys are still around? This looks like a job for Crow T. Robot!!
(And man, would I pay to see this!!!
