Brian Maloney at the Radio Equalizer has one of the weirder updates of the day; so let’s start there: Apparently Rush Limbaugh picked Sonia Sotomayor as the next Lib SCOTUS pick as early as 1997.
Which should drive the Libs crazy. Once again, Rush is Right. Heh.
Also at the Radio Equalizer, Maloney details how Sotomayor’s radical ideas are probably better suited for a college campus, rather than the Supreme Court.
The Canada Free Press in less than two days was able to find out that Sotomayor belongs to a radical leftist law group riddled with conflicts of interest:
LatinoJustice PRLDEF was known as the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund until last year when it filed Articles of Amendment with New York State to change its name. Among radical left-wing groups, it has a fairly garden-variety agenda. A captive of identity politics, it pushes for multiculturalism, diversity, bilingual public education, race-based gerrymandering of electoral districts, race-based employment quotas, tenants’ rights, and illegal immigrants’ rights.
Even more interestingly, The Daily Kos (of all places) noted that Sotomayor was a Puerto Rican Independence sympathizer; which has angered the other half of the island that favors annexation as a State.
And in a move that deeply disappointed conservative Texans, Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) decried other conservatives analysis of Sotomayor as “Terrible.” (Apparently Senator Cornyn *IS* capable of being cowed with that racial bugaboo.)
Aaaaah, John, John, John. Sad. Let me be clear on this. I think we should give Sotomayor the same respect and attention the Leftoids gave President Bush’s judicial nominees; which is to say, very little. Question everything. Investigate every answer she makes. Filibuster until her family begs her to withdraw. Makesure every time you’re on camera you mention as many of her radical Leftist postions as possible.
Conservatives may not have the votes to deny her the position, but the louder and longer the complaining goes on, the more likely some of the Conservative Dems join our side.
She’s neither ready nor worthy of this office. SCOTUS does not need a racial bully on the Court.
And it really beggars the lasting question; do the mooks in the White House know how to vet anyone at all?
Call those representatives now. You know I’ve already called John-freaking-Colrnyn a couple of times this morning.
