Foir the last five months I’ve been watching with a mix of fascination and dread as the Obama Daministration continues to throw hardballs one after another at the American public without letup. no time to Question ANY of this; just shut up and pass the damned things. WHAM– Gitmo Closing announcement. WHAM– European Apology Tour I. WHAM– TARP Part II. WHAM– Stimulus Bill. WHAM– GM/Chrylser Bankruptcies. WHAM– Sotomayor nomination. WHAM– D-Day Apology Tour.
I’m getting a headache from all the slamming.
Political Light Agrees, and has a cogent explanation for it all:
Could Obama’s nomination of Judge Sotomayor to the Supreme Court be just another Denial of Service Attack? If you are not familiar with the term; ‘Denial of Service Attack’ is a term used to describe a common attack on web sites. What happens is a hacker causes so many requests to a web site that the server is virtually overwhelmed and shuts down not letting legitimate requests through.
I believe this is what Obama is doing with the news.
We all know today’s news is provided to the masses in ‘sound bites’. There is a limited amount of airtime on radio and more importantly television news. For this reason the latest breaking news gets most airtime leaving other very newsworthy items behind. All the hoopla around the appointment of Sotomayor has been taking much of the airtime of the conservative news commentators leaving little time for anything else. Obama had to know of her speeches and writings beforehand.
What is Obama doing behind the scene that is not being reported because of time constraints?
Since his inauguration, and even before, there has been one hot news story after another created by Obama or someone close. Think about it. (For a while, I thought he was trying to recreate ‘Around the World in Eighty Days) and so many other almost daily sound bites that I have trouble remembering them all. I’m not smart enough to figure out what he’s up to but I am smart enough to know he’s up to no good (as they used to say on the old TV westerns).
Read it here. Read it now. This may be one of the key things to understanding the Obama Administration.
