An altercation between two men left one stabbed in the back and the other with a severed pinky, police said.
San Antonio police Sgt. Trey Roussel said two men in their mid-50s got into an altercation at a bus stop near a Shell gas station at Fair Avenue and Interstate 37 South. The sergeant said the incident stemmed from a previous altercation the men had last spring about stolen money.
The man who alleges he was robbed pulled into the gas station driving a white truck and approached the other man sitting at a bus stop with a woman. The driver of the vehicle verbally confronted the man and punched him in the face. The man who was punched then took out a pocketknife and stabbed the driver in the back, Roussel said.
The man who was stabbed was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries. The other man severed his pinky when he closed the knife and was taken to Baptist Medical Center in stable condition.
Neither man has been charged in the incident, Roussel said.
And, see, there’s the problem. Perhaps is these imbeciles spent a few months in jail they’d think twice about stealing, or stabbing; or . . uhmm . . knife safety.
Need another Beer, i think.
