I was watching Fox news yesterday morning (December 22nd) at a little after 9:30am. Megyn Kelly was having a discussion with a blonde info-babe named Ashley something (Crowley? I didn’t quite catch it) and they were taling about the poor track record of Illinois governors.
Ashley quoted my blog post HERE where I said that:
Since the 1950’s, almost every single governor in the State of Illinois has been indicted and served time, with four exceptions. One was a lieutenant governor who succeeded his indicted governor, and didn’t have much time to do anything.
Only two governors were not indicted, accused of, or implicated in any wrongdoing since 1953 — both Republican, and the most notable of which was James “Big Jim” Thompson — the governor so straight-arrow, they named a Federal Building in downtown Chicago after him.
I gotta tell ya; I’m all tingly inside. CNN has been linking to the blog occaisionally, but this is the first for FOX news — and my first on-air mention.
My numbers may not be up there with some other blogs, but the right people are reading here. And if you’re reading here, you’re one of those “right people.” Thank you, Ashley.
